Work got underway on a huge retirement complex in the heart of Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, at the beginning of April and M & T Midlands have been appointed to carry out the large groundworks package on the project.
Working on behalf of long term client, Deeley Group, we will be carrying out the site clearance, earthworks and groundworks in preparation for the two large buildings to be constructed. In addition, we will install site wide drainage, and laying down the access roadway and residents car park as we move towards the end of the project. Final external works and soft landscaping will be completed around the communal areas and extremities of the site.

With work getting started, our teams will be on site for the next few months getting the ground prepared and foundations installed to enable the next phase of the project to commence seamlessly. Due to the size and complexity of the work that needs to be completed on site, the contract is not due to be completed until the end of September 2026.
